Parent registration

Enter your email and city. We will email you a link to set a password. You can then share the login with your kids.

The email comes from ShrewsburyKids (shrewsburykidslearning@gmail.com). If you don't see it within a minute, check your Junk/Spam folder and add that address to your contacts.

What is this?

A free weekly practice site for Grades 4–8. Every Sunday a 20-question Math quiz and a 20-question English quiz open for each grade. The score and a full review are emailed to the parent.

What a parent does (once)

  1. Register with email and city.
  2. Click the emailed link and set a password.
  3. Add each child under Manage kids (first name, last name, grade 4–8).
  4. Give the child the website, the email and the password. One login works for all kids and devices.

How a kid takes a test

  1. Log in and tap their name.
  2. Pick Math or English, then the current week, then press Start. A 20-second get-ready screen shows the rules, then the first question begins.
  3. Answer one question at a time, with 2 minutes each and no going back. Skip leaves a question for later.
  4. Take the optional extra minute for each unanswered question (2 marks less per answer).
  5. Check the read-only summary and press Submit.
  6. Wait for the 60-second countdown, then see the score out of 100. The parent gets the full review by email.
